The end of the compact?When the iPhone4S was announced a few months back, most commentators and fans seemed disappointed that, on the face of it, here was a minor update midway through the phone's life, and not the radical upgrade that they were hoping for expecting. While the familiar, slick exterior remains, making the iPhone 4S virtually indistinguishable from the iPhone 4 at least to the untrained eye there's actually quite a bit that's changed internally. Why should you care? Well, the most noticeable change is the camera and the technology that goes with it. We've been lucky enough to have an iPhone 4S on test and all we can say is that photographers should be very excited indeed.
